Cristina Armstrong

Cristina Armstrong

Cristina is an experienced freelance cultural producer with a strong track record of delivering high profile cultural programmes and events across the UK and internationally. She uses her skills to help build positive relationships with people, place, projects and funders. Her previous projects have included producing temporary and permanent public art works and performances, mass participation projects and events, artist-led projects and multi- disciplinary collaborations. Cristina has produced work commissioned by cultural, tourism, heritage and creative industry partners in addition to supporting individual artists and collectives to develop and implement cultural programmes.

Recent projects include Rachel McLean’s Make Me Up co-produced by NVA and Hopscotch Films, Hinterland at St Peter’s seminary and touring Speed of Light internationally. She also worked as Head of Casting for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2010 Delhi Handover Ceremony.

At Skimstone Arts, Cristina is supporting the strategic development of current projects including Reaching Out and Peace Procession3: Standing Together, working with Claire and the wider team to support young artists, nurture ambition and continue the development of creative collaborations.
