Earth Ball

One World, a national project spearheaded by Mark Wallinger, aims to promote world peace and unity amongst people. Through the interaction with one another, using a football printed with a picture of earth taken in space by NASA from Apollo 8, artists were asked to record their interactions.

Skimstone Arts Young Artists Collective explored the concept of equality and unity through their video, Earth Ball.

Earth Ball aims to show that everyone has the chance to share the earth between themselves. Earth has no hard edges or boundaries, can she be reflected in the way in which we should treat each other? Can you break down the barriers and embrace one and another for a better future?
