Gabrielle Heller

With four other artists Gabriele founded the Institute Robert Walser in Newcastle upon Tyne in 2011. It is a loose collective devoted to the understanding, appreciation and dissemination of the work and life of the Swiss writer Robert Walser (1878-1956). She co-directed the Festival Robert Walser in Newcastle in 2012.

Since 2013 Gabriele Heller works as an associate lecturer in Performing and Visual Arts at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne.

Her practice includes acting, singing, directing, teaching and writing.
As a singer Gabriele works on various music projects. She leads the Jazz Quartet Gabriele mit drei.
