Imagine Your Seat Across Newcastle

Imagine Your Seat builds on the  success of Here’s Your Seat, a 42 minutes film of songs, poems and photographs, created during lockdown with communities in Byker, Walker, East Durham and across the world, projected from St Michael’s Cafe, Byker and online in summer 2020.

Imagine Your Seat is Skimstone Arts latest project tha will take form as a Radio Show. Come and join us!

The project is connecting people in the North East and the rest of the world as far as Africa. In particular we are working in Newcastle within the communities of Byker, Walker – The Bostey, Echo Artists and Young Artist Collective.

Where your heart skips a bit...

Winter is coming with new restrictions,

but where would you like to be?

Where would you sit in the world?

Who might be there?

What might you share?

What difference would you like to make?

We’d love to hear from you!
Send a message, some thoughts, a poem, a song, a photograph to claire@skimstone.org.uk or Facebook us at Skimstone Arts Ensemble and be part of our International radio show which we will be broadcasting in November.
