More On This Later

A theatre performance by Gabriele Heller (theatre-between) and Claire Webster-Saaremets (Skimstone Arts) as part of Festival Robert Walser 19 – 25 March 2012

More on This Later is a performance response to Walser’s modernist writing. Realistic description and fictional creation seem to change so quickly in Walser’s texts, that you sometimes feel exhausted by reading only one short story. Ten characters are loosely tangled up in this distant love story between the waitress Edith and the Robber. The Robber is the main character of Walser’s last novel referred to as ‘a good for nothing, someone perpetually short of cash.’
