Who Owns the Inner Shell?

Skimstone Arts was invited to open a conference at Northumbria University – Coach Lane Campus. Responding to the theme of Visual Methodologies in Health, Skimstone opened the day with a performance lecture entitled Who Owns the Inner Shell?

The performance saw three Skimstone Arts performers, Claire Webster Saaremets, Tom Spence and Jessica Johnson, using live performance to question and explore the ethics behind the use of visual methodologies. After carrying out extensive research into visual methodologies, Skimstone Arts Ensemble and Young Artist Collective used and combined their expertise in music, acting and technical skills to bring video, photography, live music and spoken word to the audience.
