Rachel Hamer

Rachel Hamer

Rachel Hamer is a freelance project manager, producer, facilitator and folk singer.

Over the past few years Rachel has worked on projects and large scale events in organisations across Sunderland, Gateshead and Newcastle focusing on family and schools engagement whilst developing her work with young people and also delivering lots of Arts Awards! Currently she is working as Project Manager for Skimstone Arts’ Reaching Out Festival and as Young People and Community Producer at Sunderland Culture.

Rachel believes in meaningful opportunities for young people to take a lead to share their wonderful ideas and make a difference to the world around them whilst developing their own skills. Rachel is excited to work with the fantastic young people at Skimstone Arts and support new young people through the Reaching Out Project.
