Ruby came to Skimstone in November 2016 as part of her term-time placement, a work experience scheme provided by Skimstone in partnership with Newcastle University. She was born in Vietnam and grew up in Germany before coming to the UK to pursue a degree in Media and Communications. During her placement, she assists Artistic Director Claire and Lead Artist Peter with a diverse range of tasks in Marketing & Communications, such as managing social media, distributing marketing materials, organizing events or administrating the Skimstone website.
