Enshrine is the culmination of an eight month intensive project which focussed on why we choose to collect and preserve memories of people and places and how our local history is archived and documented through the existence of cultural organisations such as Beamish Museum and Resource Centre and Durham County Record Office.

The video piece contains five sections which portray some of the children’s own collections displayed in old suitcases alongside actual archives of maps and photographs from the Centres.
