Made in England is a partnership between the BBC and Arts Council England. Skimstone proposed the idea for Tea Side, A Travelling Tearoom and  performed it in five different locations identified by BBC Tees. A specially edited version was created for The Big Screen Event and was screened alongside Tea Side – the making of ..Documentary and Briefcase Encounter.

In Middlesbrough Town Square was a specially prepared fully functioning outdoor tearoom complete with doileys, china and a ‘menu’ of tea and living in England related improvisations, interactions, monologues, songs and …of course a specially prepared Fado from our Portuguese character Alberto. Rose ran the tearoom with the usual wonderful staff serving endless cups of tea from tea urns carefully positioned behind the sculptures in the square.
