Tunnel vision is an artistic response to  exploring the idea of why people choose to live in tunnels, the choices they make and their perspectives of the world under and over the ground. Inspired by the pedestrian section of the Tyne Tunnel and the lives of the ‘Mole People’ who live under the streets of New York Raven explored the themes of  ‘hiding’ ‘identity’ ‘friendship’ ‘survival’ ‘choice’ ‘escape’ and ‘surface’.

How do these themes this connect with our own lives in today’s society? Sound and video recording and editing, storytelling, creative writing and performance were used to create a film in seven chapters, with the aim of drawing in the viewer to experience visions of life in tunnels.
