What is the Edge? is a collaboration between young filmmakers form Thomas Bewick School and All Saints College and Skimstone and is inspired by site visits to Hadrain’s wall. The edges of the wall were explored as barriers that might protect us or stop us doing things, and as a boundary created by the Emperor Hadrian.

Using digital photography, sound and video recording and creative writing we asked What are the boundaries in our lives? Is a wall a physical or a mental barrier? How do you know it is safe? What is your limit? What Is The Edge? encourages us to think about our own sense of adventures that are stimulated by history and our own life experiences.
