UNITY Festival is back! Following the success of UNITY Festival 2021 we're delighted to announce that our free music and story festival celebrating community, nature and social action will return in 2022. Taking place from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 March 2022 the Festival will feature a jam-packed programme of live music, events and activities for all the family to enjoy. The Festival will be a hybrid model and take place live in and around our new home and park space at i4 Quayside and also via Zoom. If you'd like to get involved as an artist, a speaker or a volunteer or are interested in providing some tasty refreshments for festival-goers to enjoy then come and find out more over a cuppa and a mince pie at our Studio on Thursday 2 December 11am-12pm. Head to i4 Quayside, Newcastle Enterprise Centre, Albion Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE6 1LL.
UNITY Festival 2021 was headlined by Newcastle rapper Kay Greyson, jazz-folk singer-songwriter Bumi Thomas and sound recordist and composer Chris Watson. Over one weekend we hosted 26 free events via Zoom which were enjoyed by over 1000 people from 23 countries.
