Celebrating 10 years of Skimstone Arts

In 2018 we celebrate 10 years of Skimstone Arts with a programme of exciting performances, exhibitions and film screenings in June and July 2018.

In 10 years Skimstone Arts has created 40 original theatre/sound/ media artworks with over 90 touring performances, 16 gigs, 13 films, 20 exhibitions at national and international events, including those with and for young people and those in later years, reaching diverse audiences of nearly 5000.

We’d like to thank everyone who has helped us celebrate so far – we’ve been joined by guests from around the world as we hosted exhibitions and performances by our Young Artists Collective, the Skimstone Arts Ensemble, and our 2018 artists in residence: Irantzu Agirre, The Penthouse and Martim Dinis.

Later this summer we are looking forward to welcoming artist in residence Arun Bose who will join us from Kerala, India, to share some of his recent film work.

We will also be previewing our new film, Doorbells – Dreaming for the Future.

Sign up to our mailing list to be kept up to date about forthcoming events.
