British Society of Gerontology Conference

Skimstone’s Artistic Director, Claire Webster-Saaremets, attended the British Society of Gerontology 48th Annual Conference in July 2019 at the University of Liverpool –  the UK’s premier multi-disciplinary conference for the promotion of gerontological research into ageing and later life.

In partnership with the Elders’ Council and Northumbria University, Claire shared learning from the creation of Doorbells: Dreaming for the Future, a short film commissioned by Care & Repair England and Elders Council of Newcastle, and supported by Northumbria University, which explored the future of how and where we will live as we age.
